Sore throat when swallowing, clogged left ear, swollen lymph nodes?

About a week ago during the middle of the day I began to feel as if I was starting to get a sore throat. The next morning I woke up with a much more sore throat, swollen glands and a mive headache. I went to the health center on my campus, but the doctor didnt do much. The next day I got rid of my headache completely but my throat still hurt alot when I swallowed. That night, I woke up around 4 and the pain of swallowing was unbearable. I went to the doctor again that day to get a note excusing me of missing my cles. I didn't seek a drs. help though. I went home that night and my throat began to feel better that day, until the night hit. and then again the next day it began to feel much better. I went back to school, happy that there wasnt much pain. Yesterday I canceled my drs. appt. thinking I felt much better, my glands aren't really swollen, and my sore throat was barely noticeable. Around 8 last night my throat began to hurt alot on the left side, and my ear became clogged. when i woke up this morning my throat still hurts alot and now my ear begins to feel painful. i don't know what this is, and i can't even see a doctor right now since i am at school, and it's closed on the weekend. I've tried gargling with salt water, and drinking hot tea. I've taken ibuprofen all week, which helps the pain somewhat but it keeps coming back. i also got a strept throat test and it was negative, im not sure what else it could be.
