Have Free Market Opportunism robbed Americans of the means of a decent existence? Can we reclaim our country?

Well, we first need to get out of the North American Union. Then we need to start using and building our own resources again. NOT importing everything from everywhere else!! The North American Union will, in effect, serve to make the US the same as Europe, which has not served Europe that well. If nothing is done about this, the US, Canada, and Mexico will become one country, thus demolishing the US as we know it anyway. We will no longer have to worry about elections, not that we really do anymore anyway. If you look at the elections system, it is currently only a two party system now. The BIG two. Independents really have no standing in an election, they don't get as much publicity or as much standing as the Republicans or Democrats. Thus, it is basically a two party election. In some European countries ALL candidates are written in on the ballots and voted for. Yes, the USA our forefathers fought for, is no longer here. If it was, we wouldn't have 30% voter turnout in elections.
