National guard while in college, how does this work?

okay here it goes, im a senior in high school and im starting college this fall at unc charlotte.im planning on joining the national guard as a way to pay for school and I want to serve my country (long line of miltary personnel in my family) while having a civilan career. what steps do i need to make? any help would be great:)
