Stumpjumper Comp or Trek 8000?

I would personally buy a giant anthem x2 or x3. I have been in the bike industry for almost 6 years now and I can tell you that trek and specialized are both overpriced because of their brand name. If you so some research you will find that giant it the largest bike company in the world and they actually make most of trek's and specialized's frames. Unless you are buying the very top end trek or specialized, which are like 3 times the cost of the bikes you are looking at, they are all made in the same few factories in taiwan, china, etc. trek and specialized are nice bikes but for the price you are looking at I would go with a less popular brand name. you will get better components dollar for dollar. If I had to choose between those two bikes I would go with the specialized stumpy because it has a more serviceable suspension system.
